Whilst speaking with local residents it became clear that the pedestrian route from the Thames and Rotherhithe Station to Albion Street and Canada Water in the South was not ideal.  In addition the recent increase in property values resulted in many splintered social groups, including a number of workshops involved in the making of theatre and film props.

The proposal centrered around a series of generous public gardens, flanked by co-workshop spaces and community allotment plots dotted with small meeting pavillions, all linked by a cantilevered multi-purpose timber roof grid.
