Proposing a new settlement for recently arrived refugees within a declining hill-village in Southern Italy, rejuvinating the local tradition of Frazioni or 'fraction villages' centred around a trade to introduce new small-scale industries which could integrate with those already existing.
A focus was on utilising local industries and produce an instruction booklet on how to construct a limited range of repeated simple robust details, empowering the end user through the agency of self-build and allowing for temporary structures which could evolve to meet future needs.
